A couple of years ago, I heard Hollow World on BBC Radio 6 - and it led me to A Silent Moment. A wonderful, beautiful song. Thank you BBC - and thank you Rishi.

Thank you for sharing this story.

I discovered Elephant Stone around the time of your Barcelona show in February 2020, which ended up being the last concert I went to before the Covid lockdowns. I've been listening ever since.

I love many of your songs, but A Silent Moment has always had a special place for me. It's one of those songs I keep coming back to. It has become my comfort song. I can't fully explain why, but every time I hear it, something shifts. It brings me back to myself and creates a space where I can just stop for a moment and feel whatever I need to feel.

I've really enjoyed these Substack posts too. They add a whole new dimension to music that already means a lot to me.

Thank you ;)

I discovered this song about a year ago on the worldwide internet station Radio Paradise, where it is in regular/occasional rotation. After listening to it a number of times I became particularly fascinated with the wordless singing section, so beautiful and mysterious! (At first I wasn't totally sure it was wordless either!) So it was fantastic to find your "making of..." video on Youtube.

Rishi, did you know, for a while on Youtube there was an unuthorised video of the song with video clips edited from an Indian film. Something to do with a young boy able to charm and pacify a lion.

It worked very well, I would suggest it was sort of a "labour of love", but of course I do not condone the unauthorised use of the music or film.

Your post here is a terrific read...what a beautiful moment at your merch stall with your fan, singing together...A very special song indeed.

Thank you Rishi and Radio Paradise!

I hope very much to see Elephant Stone when you next play in the the UK.
